  List of Branch Offices being closed?

  hi, i've tried searching for some recent posts on rumours or otherwise of branch offices being closed but cannot easily find anything.

  does anyone readily have a list of the ones earmarked for closure?

  i did read about central america but also recently some european too.

  I know that Spain was/is closing down. Reason was as they would have to pay social security for the volutneer workers.

  Not sure of other sites.

  Netherlands Memorial Attendance 2009/2010

  good news!.

  the dutch kingdom ministry shows the following statement:.

  this year (2010) 43.372 persons attended the memorial, 100 persons took of the symbols.. the 2009 attendance figure was 51.578.. this means that 8.206 went missing in one single year, a plunge of 16%.. i get the impression that the partakes figure is going up as they now avoid the term "annointed".. .

  The Dutch Kingdom Ministry shows the following statement:

  I get the impression that the partakes figure is going up as they now avoid the term "annointed".

  dear randy, early this year i requested disassociation from the org and have been meaning to publish some sort of statement.

  i was a member for over 33 years and partook of the emblems.

  being an older widow it took some deliberation and guts to make the move but am currently very happy with the change.

  my 6 year old walked straight past her grandma and auntie (jws)

  grandma has not seen her for 18 months and auntie 2 years !

  i was in the town at the weekend just before i went to work , my little girl was walking a few feet ahead of me and i saw her auntie come out a shop followed by grandma and i thought "oh shit" "what have we got to talk about after all this time " but fortunatley they just walked past eachother oblivious , despite grandma being so close she could have patted her on the head !

  i was relieved but afterwards i thought how sad it is that a grandma cant come to visit her own grandchild and didnt even notice her (they are my disfellowshipped hubbys family .

  Donations to The Watchtower

  in the uk we are encouraged to make our donations by bank direct debit.

  i just wondered if anyone knows if a direct debit is stopped whether the local kh the doner attended gets informed?.

  my husband stopped his donation some time before we completely ceased attending meetings and he has always wondered whether the elders knew.

  With direct-debet it is seen when the money arrives. If nothing arrives, the brother doing the accounts may notice that it is missing. Initially they could assume it is because you are overdrawn, but if they miss it a number of months (again if the brother doing the accounts pays attention) it may get noticed.

  However, I did the accounts a while and never passed any information about who deposited what or didn't deposit and the elders never asked.

  In summary, only if the brother doing the accounts paid attention and passed it on to the elders would it get noticed.

  it's certainly not found in the perfect 'design' of our bodies or the planet we live on.

  without appealing to the supernatural or 'sacred texts' where can solid evidence be found against darwinian evolution by natural selection?.

  The children of almost all of the elders I can think of over the past decade are going to University or have gone to university and taken full-time jobs once completing it. (This is in Europe (Netherlands), not the USA though.
